Blog the Seventh: Midol and Bowling

Posted by whattomorrowsfriday on February 9, 2009 at 5:15 PM

So, here I sit...in my room: not studying for my "Map Test of Africa; Phase Two."

Instead, I have my stereo up so loud that it's shaking listening to Folie à Deux and blogging. You might be thinking 'Haley why do you have your stereo up so loud, if you have a headache?" But chances are you aren't thinking that because you had no idea of the pounding ache that has bombarded my brain. Regardless, I have an answer for you:

           I'm insane.

...

Plus I've taken two Midol in the hopes that it will quell my pain.

          Now, onto more important matters.

I'm not sure I have more important matters, actually. I'm really just procrastinating...

OH! I thought of something.

My parents and their friends have decided to join a bowling league. This is horrifying, not only because they're bowling at the alley in town, where people I know go, but also because they are always the most vocal in the place. Although the plus side to this is a whole Friday night where they aren't home, the negative effects are much more traumatizing. So, I have come up with a few solutions:

  • Burn down the bowling alley (Not one of the most well laid plans but I have to keep all of my options open.)
  • Hide bowling shoes (or feed them to sharks...although, where I'm going to find a shark in Minnesota without breaking into the Como Zoo, I don't know. Possibly a loon will have to substitute....a rabid loon.)
  • OR Kidnap my parents friends, so that they down have anyone to bowl with. I'm 43% positive they wouldn't go bowling by themselves.

That's the best I got.

Now that I've managed to waste a good half hour, I should pretend to study.
